Portal: No Escape

Here at Pixellica, we love all things special effects related, and even though we mostly focus on Photoshop, I thought I’d take a moment to share this amazing live action short film, based on the Portal game series by Valve. It takes a very creative look at the gameplay, and physics used in the game. And could there be a sequel judging by the film’s ending?

The film was directed by Dan Trachtenburg from Revision3′s Totally Rad Show. He has been directing a number of commercials for major companies and also turned some heads with his short, horror film “More Than You Can Chew.” The short stars Danielle Rayne who is a working TV actress. I’m going to guess she is portraying Chell but it isn’t stated that’s who she is, but regardless, she is awesome!
