Rather than simply making the paper sculptures, these artists created a story using origami and stop-motion animation. Art takes a 3D, time-consuming process to completion in each of these examples — some are short, but still in a way tell a beautiful tale of patience and creativity.

Our hosting provider, Eleven2.com, said the problem was with PHP coding being included in the .htaccess file, despite the fact nobody on our end inserted PHP into that file and the last time we touched the file was nearly two weeks ago. Late Wednesday Samson at Eleven2 said the problem was fixed however by the next morning we were dead again. Now, supposedly, the problem is resolved. Thank you for your patience as we get (or got, rather) this issue sorted out.

Statistically, the problem — caused by something apparently we’ll never know — lost us thousands of impressions over the last few days. Thankfully, with the holidays most people are otherwise not browsing the internet so much so the impact may be less than imagined.

There are more articles in the lineup since the glitch hasn’t effected the writing or gathering of inspiration. More will be up today and in the days following. In the meantime, check out some cool previous posts, linked below.:)

In this quick tutorial David Wood (me;) ) will show you the problem he encountered while working on a custom t-shirt for one of his favorite bands, Yellowcard. Quickly create a full size version of the band’s logo using layer styles and clipping masks. Enjoy!
